[Okmintv.com] – The East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) provincial government claims that it is intensifying efforts to improve public services in border areas of Indonesia, following the recent participation in a two-day national coordination meeting discussing acceleration and monitoring of management at the country’s borders.
The event, hosted by the National Border Management Agency, is taking place in Bogor and brings together ministries and provincial authorities responsible for state borders and frontier development.
Commenting on the agenda, Petrus Seran Tahuk—NTT Governor’s Expert Staff for Politics and Governance—and Maxi Nenabu, who is Head of the Provincial Border Agency, told okmintv.com that the NTT province would build on the expectations of the central government for border management and supervision throughout the province.
They noted that provincial policy will be in harmony with the vision and mission of Governor Melki Lakalena and Deputy Governor Jhoni Asadoma as they assume leadership.
